Friday Favorites, July Edition

July is almost over, so I guess it's time for another Friday Favorites post. We're starting off strong with the bouquets from the flower subscription that I purchased from the flower farm in Pixler. I pick up a new bouquet each Friday, and every one is different and unique. The subscription continues through September and only cost $240. I think that's a hell of a deal.

These are the first month's bouquets.

Next, we have the latest Boozy Book Fair, which Mom and I attended last night. It was the Mom's first time at the fair, as well as at the restored potato shed that houses The Association. Before browsing the book selection, Mom and I ordered dinner at Layered; I had the chicken burrito, which was huge, and Mom ordered the Layered Nacho Bowl, which was also more than enough for two meals.

Then, we each made our purchases. I picked up a couple of books, as well as a mystery box, which I chose from the Romantacy genre. I opened the box at home and was pleased to find the cutest book bag, a book that I had not read and that seems like it will be interesting, as well as a notebook and pen, a selection of stickers, a bookmark, a book pin, and a lip balm. The box cost $34, and I think I got a good value for the price.

I've been reading a lot, mainly on the porch, where I can watch the hummingbirds at the feeders. Watching them fight over the feeders is a favorite summer pastime, for sure.

It's been a pretty good July.
