Saturday morning, Mom and I headed out to Jana's for Isaac and Kaley's gender reveal. It was my first gender reveal and so I didn't know what to expect, but, even if I had, I don't think I would have envisioned it quite like this.
It involved a gun and some explosives.
Kaley knew the gender, so it was up to Isaac to detonate the tannerite, revealing either pink or blue smoke. Now, as I said, I was a gender reveal virgin, but, aren't both parents supposed to be discovering the sex for the first time together? To each his own, I guess.
Prior to Isaac pulling the trigger, we all threw out our guesses. My prediction was for a boy, followed by a girl, followed by a boy, which, in my experience, means that the couple will eventually be parents of three.
When the tannerite explosion revealed pink smoke, I was surprised, not gonna lie. Elated for the couple, of course, but still surprised.
Now, Kaley isn't due until December, and, even she admits that she's already popping out pretty far, so I'm going to go out on a limb and predict a hidden twin. A boy, obviously.
Either way, the celebration was merry and Chris and Jana could not be happier with their growing family (this will be baby girl #3!).
We are all so excited to watch Kaley and Isaac become parents!
