I almost forgot to post today, which would have been a shame since I'm on a two-month streak. Luckily, I remembered it just as I was drifting into the most peaceful oblivion during a 90 minute reflexology massage earlier this evening and then, wonder of wonders, I actually remembered it once I got home.
90 minute reflexology massages are definitely at the top of the favorites list for today, FYI.
Next on the list is the black bean and vegetable breakfast burrito that I discovered at a coffee shop in Hooterville when Kristi and I grabbed breakfast there yesterday. I'm really making the effort to get 100 grams of protein into my diet every day, and the eggs and beans in the burrito went a long way in helping me meet yesterday's goal. It was really tasty, too.
It goes without saying that spending time with Kristi is a favorite. Sadly, we were grabbing breakfast before I dropped her off at the airport to begin her journey back to Wales. I'm going to miss her, but I know she was anxious to get back to Erin, and, she'll be back in February, so it's ok.
I do still hold out hope for an eventual trip to Wales to visit the girls, but the stars have not yet aligned in a way that would provide for that.
Also on today's list is the new food grater that I recently purchased. I admit, I was influenced to purchase it by several social media posts, and, while I hate to say that, the gadget gets the job done and is super easy to use and to clean.
In addition to adding more protein to my diet, I'm really trying to reduce the amount of chemicals and hormone disruptors that I include in my diet; this includes eating less pre-shredded, packaged cheeses, which are full of anti-caking agents and preservatives. Instead, I'm buying block cheese and shredding it myself, hence the love for this newfound appliance.
Lastly on this week's list, are the adorable outfits that I bought for Mia's new baby girl. I can't wait to give them to her! They make the cutest clothing for little girls these days.
