We are solidly in that no-man's land, between Christmas and the New Year; is it Friday? Saturday? Who the hell knows? Does it matter? No, no it does not.
We still have turkey leftovers in the fridge and PTO to be used, so it doesn't really make sense to keep track of the days. This year, in particular, it is of less importance to me because I am nursing my first significant cold in more than three years. By significant, I mean that I have resorted to a couple of doses of Theraflu, not that I am bed-ridden or anything like that.
I am, however, using the cold as an excuse for which to further procrastinate on the de-Christmasing of my house. Instead, I continue to enjoy the tree lights and seasonal joy. I'll get to it, tomorrow and will still have it down prior to returning to work next week.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
