The Teenager's first day of work went really well; she even got a dollar tip! Granted, she was so nervous, she broke out in hives, but, she soldiered on and it sounds like she really likes the job as well as the people with whom she works. I could not be more proud.
While she was at work, I was cleaning the house. That doesn't sound terribly exciting but, it really, really needed it and I am happy to say that I am typing this post from the comfort of a cat hair-free couch, with nary a dust bunny or dog hair tumbleweed in sight. It's the little things, people.
I wish I could say that the laundry is all caught up, but that would be a lie. I am, however, working on it. I am also working on decorating the house for spring, and, if the weathermen are right, and, we see temperatures in the high 50's this weekend; I might just clean off the front porch.
Have I mentioned how nice it is to have some energy back? No? Well, it totally is; I especially like the part where I can stand in the shower and wash my hair without getting so exhausted that I have to sit down.
My appetite has also come back, and, with the exception of a few things; I am back to eating a normal diet without suffering a stomachache afterwards. I look for a few pounds weight-gain in the next week and, for once, I won't complain.
