Once Upon a Pap Smear

I will be setting up for the luncheon today, slaving away to ensure that everything goes like clockwork at tomorrow's event. I'm looking forward to it, and, not just because it means that I am that much closer to having the whole thing over with, although, there is that.

The real saving grace?  I really, really like the women on my committee. They make me laugh at the worst moments and work hard to keep me focused on the prize: a wine binge following a successful event.

At one point, I am going to have to excuse myself from those women to keep an appointment with one of my other favorite women, my lady doctor; we haven't seen each other in a while and she misses me.

Or, I am due for my annual Ladyville spelunking field trip and am trying to put a positive spin on it despite the fact that...I don't really enjoy the spelunking.

Hmmm...dealing with the inevitable luncheon crisis situations and exposing my lady bits to attack by giant Q-tip; I am going to have the best. Day. Ever.
