Friday Favorites, December Edition #2

The day is almost over, but I wanted to pop on to get this post up; I'm on somewhat of a streak with these posts, and I am curious to see how long I can maintain it. I'll be brief as I've got a bit of a chest cold and want to grab a steam treatment before I turn in for the day.

Number one:

I got our Christmas cards out on time this year! And, while I didn't do anything terribly clever (no costumes required!), I still love them. We went heavy on the wedding pictures, and the cards came together almost effortlessly.

Number two:

I'm still working my way through my wine advent calendar. I got my first bottles of rose, Pinot Grigio, and Merlot, which I was super stoked about.

Number three:

I had a ninety-minute reflexology massage this morning, and it was heavenly.

Number four:

Hugh, the kids, and I watched Petticoat Junction's Parade of Lights this evening. It was exactly how I like a Christmas parade: short and sweet.

After the parade, Hugh and I walked down to the community center, where Santa was visiting with the local children. Hugh couldn't resist telling the Big Guy what he wanted for Christmas. I wish he'd let me in on it.

And that's it for today. I'm going to get a good night's rest so I will be ready to tackle my baking tomorrow. I'm behind and have some catching up to do.
