At my monthly appointment with the colorist, it was gently suggested to me that we start adding extra highlights to my hair, gradually lightening it to a golden blond in an effort to better disguise the gray roots.
Yes. That happened.
I'm on the fence about whether or not I like the highlights. My colorist assures me that they will be my new best friends this time next month when I don't have to resort to using a Sharpie marker to hide my roots while awaiting my appointment with her.
She's probably right.
Although, to be clear, when they begin to get out of control, I use a very expensive high quality hair coloring marker on my roots; not a Sharpie.
Yeah.
It's good to be clear.
Also, to be clear: it appears my days as a brunette are numbered, and; I'm not convinced that blonds have more fun.
