$4500 Worth of Hardware Later...

The Man-Cub had an eventful day; he got his braces off! Two years and $4500 later, he is the proud owner of a very impressive grill. Now, if he takes a baseball to the face and manages to knock those teeth out, we will have no one to blame but ourselves. I'm pretty sure that's how irony works.

Eh. In the meantime, we will enjoy his handsome face while desperately crossing our fingers against fate.

Also, when he was three and he knocked out all four top teeth, we got used to the look within days, so, we are adaptable (this is the parental equivalent of whistling past a graveyard, just in case you were confused).

Our orthodontist was quite pleased with his work and declared the Man-Cub too handsome for his own good. Ok, that was me. But! Who can argue with this face...

His future wife is such a lucky woman, and, she has us to thank for it. Well, for the $4500 grill, anyway.
