The colors in the park are always amazing this time of year, so, when Boom and I went earlier this week; I made sure to get lots of pictures.
The Blue Herons that were nesting in the park over the spring and summer have apparently migrated to warmer climates, but, the ducks have moved into the lake to take their place. I spotted a couple of Mallards and their hens on the water as we were rounding the pathway that curves around the lake.
I'm guessing the geese will move in soon, as well, but that won't be for a few weeks yet. I'll have to keep an eye out. I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunity to do so, considering how often the Booms wants to go to the park to play fetch.
We didn't name him Boomerang for nothing, after all.
