Things are pretty quiet here in Petticoat Junction. With no sports to attend, school events to chaperone, or big holiday shindigs to plan, I have been allowed the freedom to become rather lazy.
I haven't started any of the (very minimal) baking that I plan to do this year. I am slowly working through my shopping list for Christmas gifts, and, not pressuring myself to rush.
My decorations have been up since the day after Thanksgiving, but, even that was scaled down just a wee bit this year.
I'm not sure if I am getting old, or getting smart.
Either way, I'm relaxed and not stressed, so, I'll take it.
