So, after spending the past couple of months stressing over the never-ending process of keeping the hummingbird feeders full, I was finally rewarded; I earned their trust enough to get close to them.
At one point, I had four of them on the feeder and another few whizzing around my head and squeaking in my ear. It was a surreal experience.
Now, when I go outside to refill or clean the feeders, the birds hover around me until I am finished rather than zipping off to the trees to wait for the feeders to be returned.
It's pretty cool. I am One with Nature.
Hear me roar.
