Anyhoodle, I did use some of my most favorite pieces, and, I switched things up a bit, especially on my fireplace mantel, which houses my collection of witch potions and spell books this year...
I also made good use of the tables and wall space in my foyer...
as well as the new wine hutch in the dining room...
I added some sparkle and a pop of color on the dining room table...
...and I sprinkled some additional fun stuff throughout the living room, including my collection of witch hats, Hugh's faux Jack-o-Lanterns, and other vintage-inspired pieces that I have collected over the years.
I also re-did my kitchen chalkboard for the holiday...
I'm pleased with how it turned out, and, not nearly as overwhelmed with the idea of putting it all away as I have been in years past. Which, is a good thing since I replace it all with Thanksgiving decor, a plethora of which I also own.
One of these days, I'm going to give up the whole "decorating the house for the seasons" gig.
Really, I am.
Ok, probably not. But, I reserve the right to scale back every once in a while. Scaling back being a relative statement, I mean, obviously.
