A New Year, Already

I'm not going to bother with resolutions this year; I'm never any good at keeping them. That doesn't mean that I don't have hopes for 2016, however.

I hope to be more mindful of my health.

I  hope to be content with what the good Lord has seen fit to bless me.

I hope to spend time with friends and family and people whom I actually enjoy.

I hope to be able to provide for myself and my family.

I hope to be happy.

I'm a big believer in the whole "if you build it, they will come" philosophy of happiness; I also subscribe to the "fake it 'til you make it" method of achieving goals, and, that is how I intend to make 2016 as good a year as it can possibly be.

I'm also going to pray a lot, but, that's generally a given.

Happy New Year, y'all!
