October Care Package

Since Hugh was planning to make the drive to Denver for a meeting and to take the kids to the amusement park, I decided to send The Teenager's monthly care package with him, rather than mailing it.

Doing so allowed me to use a gift bag rather than a box, which was a nice change and I went ahead and sent a similar package to Miss Katie, whom I adore and to whom I have started sending packages, regularly (a moms got to take care of her girls, after all).

The care packages featured a Halloween theme, which is only right considering that it is October (already!).

I tried to put together a mix of items that the girls could use for Halloween as well as items that, while Halloween-themed, are useful for daily life, plus a few treats, just for the heck of it. One thing is certain; the girls are going to be fairly well prepped for the holiday.
