It's October, y'all. How the heck did that happen? I am so far behind on my usual October chores, I think I might just as well skip them and move right on to Christmas; that's what all the stores are doing, so, I mean, why not?
Seriously though, I don't have a single Halloween decoration up. I'm working on a new garland for over the front door, but, by "working on", I mostly mean that I am walking by the table in the mudroom where the raw materials for the garland currently reside, occasionally glancing at them and, on rare occasions, actually sticking some item into some other item, then growing impatient with the task and walking away. I don't think that's going to get the job done.
I would say that I will use this weekend to get everything accomplished, but, I am heading to Mayberry to watch the Man-Cub play in a football game in Mount Pilot, so, my weekend hours are already spoken for.
If I wait until next weekend, then, really, why bother? The month will be half over.
This right here is a First World problem if ever there was one.
