Bye, Summer! See You Next Year

Hugh, the Cub, and I joined Chris and Jana at a lake located in the state park to the south of Hooterville earlier today, and, you would think that going farther south would mean warmer weather. In Colorado? Not so much.

It was chilly. And, by chilly, I mean that I wore Hugh's sweatshirt pretty much the entire time we were on the water. I may have taken it off briefly, to enjoy the sunshine on my skin one last time, but, it was a short-lived moment.

Sigh.

Good thing I really, really love the fall, because, leaving summer behind this year is going to be tough.
