Things Are Humming Along

The hummingbirds are finally, finally making their presence known here in Petticoat Junction. I have eagerly awaited their arrival all summer long, and, it really felt as though they weren't going to make a showing this year, so I am beyond happy to see them.

Without a boat, a garden, and a Rowdie Dog, this summer has, frankly, kind of sucked, so, to miss even one more tradition of summer would have been the final straw.

Thank goodness these beauties swooped in to save the day.
