Deck the Halls With the Entire Contents of the attic, Fa,la,la,la,la,la,la,la,la!

My house looks like Christmas threw up all over it. This makes me surprisingly happy. Mostly, I am happy that I am done with the decorating; that shit takes it out of me, like, for real. I would like to believe that, now that the decorating is complete, I will be able to catch up on my rest, but; there are cookies to be baked and candy to be made and presents to be purchased and wrapped, so, not so much with the resting, I'm thinking.

That's ok; Christmas comes but once a year, and, I'm reveling in it this year. Besides, I can always rest next year.

Plus, I'm glad that I got the outside decorating out of the way, considering that a snowstorm is in the forecast for this week. I seriously doubt that I would have felt nearly so festive if I was setting up the porch tree in a blizzard.
