Since she's been planning her escape, The Teenager has been utilizing the guest room as her own personal staging area. As she goes through her belongings in her room, sorting the items that she wants to store from the items she wants to take with her, she boxes them, labels them, and assigns them either to the attic or to the guest room, which is how the room has come to look like this:
I'm becoming a bit concerned that we won't be able to fit it all in the cars when we drive her to school this month.
On the bright side, her bedroom closet is going to be practically empty, allowing me space to store my luggage, thus making room in my own closet.
Yep. Looking for the silver lining, 'cause that's how I roll.
